Preferred Keys

This screen lets you pick keys you prefer for performance or for what's playable for you. You can use the following components to choose a key and then tap Done to save changes.

Key Finder

In the upper right corner is a button that activates the patent-pending key finder. This will activate the on-device microphone as well as MIDI note input to determine the key of a song. Just sing or play and let the OnSong^® app figure it out for you.

Key List

You can tap on the key list to pick keys. As you do, a number will appear to the right to indicate the priority. For instance, if you preferred the key of G, but can also performed in the key of A, you can choose G and then A to put them in the right order.

Mode Switch

You can use the switch at the bottom to change between major and minor keys, however it's important to note that the preferred keys system is able to handle these differences. For instance, if you prefer to sing in the key of G and a minor song is encountered, it will use Em,
