OnSong 2024.12 was released on July 10, 2025. The following items have been added, changed or fixed:
New
- NEW Import From the Web premium feature lets you import content from your favorite websites all without leaving the app. »
Additions
- Added the ability to transpose PDF files without requiring an Internet connection.
- Added the ability to tap on chords in PDF files to view the chord inspector.
- Added the ability to tap on chords in PDF files to playback the chord.
- Added the ability to view the website logo in the import browser menubar if detected.
- Added the ability to view the number of items queued for import as a button.
- Added the ability to view a list of downloaded files for import.
- Added the ability to remove files queued for import from websites.
- Added the ability to view a tooltip when web-based content is detected.
- Added the ability to name downloaded files to include the detected key.
Changes
- Changed the name of the new import method to "From the Web" to better match other methods.
- Changed the way importing from other websites works to be more streamlined.
- Changed the way the PDF viewer displays content for low light mode to avoid writing temporary files.
- Changed the Import From the Web to update attachments on existing songs.
Fixes
- Fixed an issue when adding websites to the Import From the Web system where an invalid website would cause a non-recoverable state.
- Fixed a possible crash condition when resolving property classes.
- Fixed a possible crash condition when creating a MIDI command index.
